About

A vessel should be able to answer questions about itself.

Aquagent is made by Aquagence LLC, a Florida limited liability company. It's early, it's in private beta, and it's being built alongside the people using it.

Why Aquagent exists

Every boat arrives with its memory in a box. Manuals, invoices, service records, receipts, warranty cards — going back through the whole life of the vessel. On the day of delivery that box becomes someone's job to hold in their head.

A good handover makes it survivable. A generous previous owner who takes your calls, a yard that actually labelled the plumbing runs and electrical circuits — that work saves the next person hours. Plenty of boats have neither.

Even at its best, the system fails at the simplest question. When was the last oil change? The answer is in the records somewhere. Finding it takes an afternoon.

At 60 feet that's an annoyance. It does not stay an annoyance. More systems, more complexity, more documentation, more service history to keep straight — and on larger vessels, record-keeping has often been an afterthought. Sometimes there is nothing organised at all, no labels, and nobody left to call. Enormous amounts of time go into establishing when routine maintenance was last done, or discovering that it was quietly deferred.

Somewhere in there the question changes shape. It stops being how do I organise this and becomes: why can't I just ask the boat?

Why isn't there an app that has read every manual, every invoice and every service record for this specific vessel, and will answer a plain question straight out of it? Can't remember the air draft before a bridge — ask it. When was the last oil change on the generator, and what does the manual say the interval should be — ask once, and get both halves of the answer together.

What we're building

A knowledge base for one vessel. Trained on that boat's own documentation, and easy enough to feed that it actually stays current: photos, video, voice notes, typed notes, uploaded invoices and service records. The intelligence does the extraction, so nobody has to fill in a form. What accumulates is a living, lifelong record of everything about the vessel.

Something a crew uses daily rather than dutifully. Tasks get raised and logged as they're completed. Invoices get uploaded as they arrive. And the quirky procedures every boat has — the sequence for the stabilisers, the trick with the aft head, the valve nobody would find on their own — get captured in a thirty-second video instead of living in one person's memory until they leave.

An asset that outlives an ownership. Anyone buying a previously-owned motoryacht today is relying on a survey: one snapshot, one day, one person who has known the boat for a few hours. A vessel that can instead hand a buyer a complete, interrogable history is a materially different proposition — and worth more. The record is worth most at exactly the moment you stop needing it.

And soon, engines that contribute on their own. Oil pressure, fuel pressure, exhaust temperature and other key indicators of engine health, logged continuously off the vessel's own network. Enough of that and you have a baseline for your engines — so a bad trend becomes visible long before anything triggers an alarm.

How we work

Your records stay yours

Each vessel's knowledge base is isolated — one boat's information is never used to answer another's questions. We don't sell data and we don't hand it to advertisers. Full self-service export is a priority before general release; during the beta, email us and we'll get you your records.

The product shows its working

Aquagent cites what each answer came from, and tells you when the information isn't in your records rather than inventing something plausible. You don't have to take our word for anything — it's auditable by design.

A human answering email

Write to hello@aquagent.ai and a person replies — not a ticket queue, not a bot. During the beta, same day.

Built with the beta, not at it

The feature list is shaped by the owners, captains and engineers running Aquagent on their own boats. If something doesn't survive contact with a real vessel, we'd rather hear it now.
